Remoov charged me $125 (plus tip) to pick up my Wayfair Covertible Couch, $1200 new, 2 years old, perfect condition, to sell on consignment. I figured it would sell for $500 or more and I'd get back $250 at least. Instead they said they sold it for $75 at auction (not consignment) and my proceeds were $37.50. This is an absolute scam.

When on zoom with this service they videotaped all my stuff. Never got pricing, scheduling or any information after that. Seems like a scam to me. Luckily did not give them any information. Super uncomfortable

My experience with Remoov was incredibly disappointing and felt like a complete rip-off. I paid $330, plus a $41 tip to the movers, for a pickup that ultimately didn't even take my main item -- a beautiful 1960s Mid-Century Modern Globe Furniture 3-seater sofa. The only issue with the sofa was a very tiny food stain that I easily could have removed myself, yet they told me it needed to be "recycled," which made no sense for a vintage piece in otherwise excellent condition. The sofa was the largest item I had, and it's the reason the truck fee was so high. Paying hundreds of dollars for a pickup service that refused to take the primary item feels completely unfair and dishonest. On top of that, I originally booked a 2-5 PM window, and Remoov unilaterally changed it to 11-2 PM, which was significantly more disruptive for my schedule. Overall, I feel misled, overcharged, and extremely frustrated. I paid nearly $400 for nothing, and they were ready to send a valuable mid-century sofa to recycling over a tiny, removable spot. I won't be using Remoov again and cannot recommend their services.

This is one of the worst companies we've worked with. They doubled our move out quote less than 12 hours before our move out, which removed the opportunity for us to sell items ourselves ahead of time. They then moved a $6K sofa that could've been sold for more than half the price, lost four of the legs during the move and blamed it on us, and are now telling me they have to donate the sofa. We strongly advise against anyone from working with Remoov for any of their furniture pieces.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience with Remoov, especially given how far their service fell short of what they advertised. We paid a premium price of $1000 for a pick-up service, expecting a smooth and reliable process. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After the items were picked up, there was no follow-up from the company. We attempted to contact them multiple times, and while they initially responded, they had no idea where our items were. They told us they needed time to track them down, but after weeks of waiting, we were informed that everything had been recycled. This included a full drum set and two bicycles, one of which was a mountain bike, both of which clearly should not have been recycled. What was most frustrating was that all of their advertisement on their website were completely untrue. We were supposed to be informed about which items were donated, sold, or recycled, but we never received any details. There was no transparency or follow-up on where our belongings went. If I had known they would recycle everything without transparency or integrity, I would have simply gifted the items to people who could use them and had Got Junk remove the questionable stuff for a fraction of the price. The reason I went with Remoov was for the service they promised. When we pressed for more details, there was no clarity or accountability. They simply reiterated that everything was recycled, with no explanation or effort to resolve the situation. If you're willing to spend a significant amount of money and are okay with having no insight into where your belongings end up, then Remoov might be the company for you. However, if you're looking for reliability, transparency, and professionalism, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Overall, a very frustrating experience with a lack of responsibility or honesty from the company.

You pay to have your furniture remooved with the promise it will be auctioned and you will receive proceeds from that. However, I never heard from them again. Don't count on receiving any money for your items.

Beware... engagement ring missing after service. I hired Remoov based on their great reviews to remove some furniture as I was moving out of my apartment in San Francisco. The service itself went okay, they asked if they could come earlier than I was expecting them so I was in a bit of a rush to get the items ready, and that morning, I was also sick. Normally I remove all valuables before a service, but in the chaos, I didn't put on my engagement ring that morning, which ended up being a HUGE mistake. The ring was left in a dish in the upstairs bathroom (an area where the workers were not supposed to go into), but they were disassembling and removing a bed in the room next to it. After they left, I went back into the bathroom and the ring was gone, which sent me into a full-on panic attack and caused a massive amount of distress over the next few days as I tried to find it. I contacted Remoov several times, tried to get in contact with the workers directly, and was told that they had complete trust in the workers and there was no way they could have taken it. I would never make this claim lightly. But my objective conclusion -- which I spoke to the manager about multiple times -- is that the ring was taken. The workers told him that they did not enter either of my bathrooms, but in one of them, the toilet seat was up (I'm a woman who lives alone), and there was no one else in the apartment except me and them. The ring couldn't have fallen somewhere I couldn't see it, because I was moving out so there was no furniture anywhere else. Despite that I searched for 48 hours, had a professional with a metal detector go through every nook, had multiple family members come over to look, went through every trash bag that was in the apartment, moved every single item out of the apartment, and went to their warehouse to check the cracks of sofa. That, plus the fact that one of them wasn't truthful about the bathroom, makes that the only possibility. Luis, the manager was sympathetic but declined to give a partial/full refund, said that I couldn't prove that they were in the bathroom (even though the toilet seat was up and I'm a woman who lives alone) and simply reinforced that he trusted his workers. I understood his point of view, but don't think they did enough to investigate this based on what I told them, they just kept insisting that the workers were trustworthy and they never had an incident reported. I had to file a police report, and no longer have one of the most meaningful possessions I owned. Writing this review in hopes this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Overall, a very frustrating experience with a lack of responsibility or honesty from the company. Respond to the business, This response needs clarification for readers. The issue with your business is not that the items failed to sell. According to your advertising and the high fee charged, your responsibility was to collect my items, sort and distribute them appropriately, document them with photos or account postings, and clearly communicate what would happen to each item. None of that occurred. After pickup, there was no communication whatsoever—no updates, no photos, and no documentation. It took four weeks for me to reach someone to talk to, and seven weeks to speak with a manager. During multiple calls, no one could explain what happened to my items; instead, I was told they were “recycled,” with no proof to support that claim. After more than three months of pursuing answers, your business has now completely stopped responding. This is a clear failure of accountability and communication.

March 2026 Edit: They seem to have lost one of the couch pillows for my couch and are currently auctioning my couch as an incomplete product. Contacted support - waiting to see if I will hear anything back. Soran if you're reading this, please feel free to reach out and make this right. ---- LOS ANGELES AND PHOENIX BEWARE. NONE OF YOUR ITEMS GO TO CONSIGNMENT UNLESS THEY ARE EXTREMELY HIGH END. THE RESELL ITEMS GO STRAIGHT TO AUCTION LISTED AT $5. IF THEY DON'T SELL IN AT AUCTION THEY ARE DONATED. The FAQs about taking nice photos of your items and listing across multiple platforms (only sending your items to auction if they don't sell): THATS FOR SF ONLY AS OF DECEMBER 2025. Remoov is a startup expanding into markets other than SF and those other markets don't have the same set up. If I knew that then I wouldn't have used them. My table I could have sold for $700 (I had a buyer lined up but decided if Remoov was coming anyway I might as well let Remoov sell it) was put up for auction for $5. Almost all my items were labeled for recycling (not even donation - I was expecting donation for a lot of items). A ton of items that have plenty of use in them, no cosmetic issues, etc. I asked for a reappraisal on many items and they made no changes. I delisted most items from Remoov and gave them away on Facebook marketplace. All the "recycle" items I listed on FB marketplace were gone within 24 hours of listing to eager takers. It took me several days to list and get rid of everything. The process was riddled with erroneous automated messages, cancelled video consultations, and systems issues (I couldn't log in to my dashboard because the system didn't like capital letters in my email address, I had to give my credit card to someone on the phone because their payment system was down). There were a lot of calls to Support. The pick-up process went well (no complaints). However I paid $850 for pick-up to have my items sold in a fire sale. It did not save me any time because I didn't want my items to be recycled needlessly (THATS NOT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY) so I ended up on Facebook marketplace anyway. I regret using Remoov. It cost me more money than alternatives and didn't save me time. It must be a better experience in SF. In LA, honestly, I felt misled.

I don't know if there are actual human beings at this company or just AI bots. I scheduled a video consultation to move out all items from an apartment. I waited for an hour and no one showed up. I called the help line included with the link for the video tour and the number didn't work. About an hour later, I got a text saying I missed the call. I did not. the host never showed. They then asked if I wanted to reschedule. I told them I live an hour away from the apartment, so if we reschedule, please make sure someone shows up this time. They offered Monday, and I said I wasn't available Monday, but I could do Tuesday. They automatically rescheduled me for Wednesday, not the day I requested. To avoid another no-show, I forwarded photos of the items as they suggested. I then got 4 automated emails from different "support people" all with different instructions. "We need a video." "please send photos" (I already did). "We've already rescheduled you, so see you then." and another "sorry we missed your call. Would you like to reschedule?" All of this was highly suspicious. So I called another service that had an actual human being who answered the phone and spoke with me about my needs. Will probably go with them. Obviously, I do not recommend Remoov. I couldn't even get through the quote process.

Bit of a "bait and switch". They claim they will pick up your furniture and either split consignment proceeds or donate to charity. Based on single photos, they determined none of my furniture (including a mint condition $2,000+ Lily & Serena armoire) was sellable and quoted me well over a thousand dollars to move it. For half that amount, I could have it hauled to Goodwill myself. Pass.

Terrible experience. Had them booked prior to moving overseas with kids. They canceled the afternoon before my booking the following morning saying I added items and it now didn't fit with their schedule. I had a 3/4 truck booked but it was no longer available. Business model and what they promise isn't accurate and they are unreliable. Fortunately I found another company that was a lifesaver and great to work with!

Update: Remoov seems to have lost one of the couch cushions that was part of the couch and are currently auctioning my wonderful couch as an incomplete product. Waiting to hear back from Remoov on this. Soran had the time to comment on this review, but nobody has reached out to me.

I went forward because by the time there were problems it was too late to arrange alternatives. But high price, and the idea they are looking for things to donate, let alone sell, seems mostly just marketing fluff since everything, including high quality solid wood items in new condition are just immediately grouped up as trash not even donateable. I managed to with incredibly minimal effort sell several items they classified as unsellable on craigslist, some for several hundred each, in the brief time I had between being told they would trash them and moving. And then for 45 minutes of work they charge a high price and they seemed affronted when I didn't want to tip 20%... Just use something that doesn't pretend it's more than a junk removal service and save some money.

Hugo and his team were quick and effective. The whole experience was easy and smooth. I requested multiple reassessments of my furniture because I managed to sell some on my own, and they re-evaluated stuff for free every time.
